With Advanced Recovery South, conveniently located in Crossville, Tennessee, you have a worry-free alternative to environmental liability.

While the rapid advances in technology have raised productivity to an all-time high, the life cycle of computer and electronic equipment has dwindled down to as little as two years. Sooner or later, this obsolete equipment ends up as "high-tech trash" in a landfill - a permanent rest stop on the information superhighway. And each year, 10 million PCs, workstations and mainframes are being added to landfills.

But the story doesn't end there, and neither does your liability. For example, the cathode ray tubes (CRTs) in your discarded computer monitors contain traces of lead, phosphorous, cadmium and mercury. These hazardous materials are sealed away to protect users, but they will seep out in a landfill once the CRT is broken, and eventually find their way into a public water supply. Click here for more information on the environmental issues of CRT and television recycling.

Advanced Recovery South is a recycling company dedicated to meeting the environmental challenges of the future with a world-class organization. We provide recycling services to manufacturers, developers, governments and financial institutions. In fact, we've developed a proprietary two-step process that refines the hazardous materials from the CRT glass for reuse in other industrial applications.

This process and the other recycling work that is performed at our Crossville facility has attracted tremendous interest. You may have heard or read about us on CNN, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Newark Star Ledger, Waste Age, Consumer Reports, and more.

Recycling over 200 tons of equipment monthly over 400,000 lbs. of computer equipment is "dumped" at our facility each month. We salvage circuit boards, print heads, semiconductors and other valuable scrap materials and reclaim precious and semiprecious metals. Specializing in the palladium groups, our precious metals refining service offers the highest prices for everything from electronic scrap, coins, and dental metals to jewelry and film scrap.

We remarket ICs worldwide as well. This includes DIPs, EPROM, PCMCIA, SIPP & DRAM. If you have surplus new and used ICs, simply fax us a list of the ICs you have, and we'll provide you with a quote.

If we don't salvage materials for reuse, or export them, we recycle them for use in other products. These include glass, plastics, steel, aluminum and copper wire…everything from the tiniest bolt to the entire plastic casing. In fact, 99.97% (be weight) of every machine is reused. We also offer complete disassembly service for mainframes, PCs, copiers and other electronic equipment.

It pays to recycle your equipment with the leader

When it comes to providing recycling services, the experience and reputation of Advanced Recovery is second to none. In most cases, we'll even pay you for your excess computer and electronic equipment (excluding CRTs).
